Venetian Snares - Higgins Ultra Low Track Glue Funk Hits 1972 - 2006 (2002)

This is really where Aaron Funk has begun making real breakcore music. 'Dance Like You're Selling Nails' and 'Banana Seat Girl' both include a genius mix of breakcore and instrumental, such as hornet, funk guitar and flute. Excluding his insane breakcore style, Venetian Snares composed one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard: 'Dismantling Five Years'. This track really proves how Venetian Snares has a melodic personality within him. I'm about to tear each time I listen to 'Dismantling Five Years', I admit. I really like that album, just like 'Meathole', 'Rossz Csillag Alatt Született' and 'Cavalcade of Glee and Dadaist Happy Hardcore Pom Poms'. But there is a con about this album: some of the tracks are exagerately improvised. They remain great, but Aaron Funk could have made them better structured. It is a must-have album for Venetian Snares fans, such as me! Long life to the greatest canadian artist ever!
