Admin : I have a doubt, I see very cds an only one file ( not separated tracks ) and for example these only one file , like the cds of masters of hardcore for example contain 192 , 211 ... kbps . All the songs contain the same quality? Due to that the files are compressed into an alone file?.
Other doubt is that in this E.P of Tieum, the tracks are separated , of different quality between them ( 205 , 184 , 167 .. kbps ) My question is : If the tracks that contain 150 kbps are of bad quality ? and the tracks of 192 , 205 kbps are of better quality? ., Or in other case the bitrate adapts to the style / genre , hard or fast that the track is, and due to this , some tracks contain less quality?
I have this doubt for long time , i hope that admin or any other person , could answer me and know how are the qualities.
Thanks and congratulations for this nice blog; and thank you admin for your work in this web.

When you see one mp3 file inside archive - then it means that this CD is mixed, so it wasnt cutted into single tracks, because its continuing mix. And usually such archive contains CUE file, which helps to split one mp3 into many mp3, or better even listen this CUE without splitting mp3 file in players (like foobar2000)
This CD is not mixed, so it contains single tracks. They all have various bitrate because they were ripped from CD to mp3 with VBR settings (read wiki about VBR), so that's why each file can have different bitrate. New WEB releases have constant bitrate (CBR) 320kbps.
You can see in NFO file inside which quality this CD:
Quality ...... : VBR/44.1kHz/Joint-Stereo

But It is supposed that a single with 150 kbps has less quality of sound, and it sound worse than a single with 256 or 320 kbps or not always it is fulfilled? CDs at live contain less bitrate ( 128 kbps more or less ) and it appreciates clearly this logic of the number of kbps. Since time ago , i am a bit paranoiac with the quality of the single tracks , When i see a single track with 144 , 156 , 160 ... kbps , i think that it is of bad quality though actually it does not sound badly. A clear example is the volumes of (Megarave) that i downloaded here a little time ago , i saw tracks of gabber with a certain quality and tracks of industrial or terrorcore with less quality , for this cause i ask if the bitrate has something related with the style or genre of music though they were ripped from CD to mp3 or the original CD had this quality. The important question is if the CDs of Megarave 2008 Part2 if you know , they have good quality and are listened well though some single tracks contain low bitrate?
Sorry for the inconveniences admin , and thanks for your answer , now i know why normally , the tracks are separated.

Pointed tracks have VBR, so when you see bitrate 144 , 156 , 160 ... kbps - it means only that they are VBR, the number is average bitrate and doesn't matter much. Example:
215-catkiller-fuck_off-homely.mp3 is 174 kbps but Codec Profile : MP3 VBR V2
VBR allows a higher bitrate to be allocated to the more complex segments of media files while less space is allocated to less complex segments. The average of these rates can be calculated to produce an average bitrate for the file.
